A coworking space with childcare is a facility that offers shared workspaces for adults along with on-site childcare services, allowing parents to work while their children are cared for nearby.

 

2. What age groups are accepted in the childcare facility? 

 Currently, at The Office we provide care for children from age 16 months up to preschool age (not yet entering kindergarten).

3. What are the childcare hours? 

Childcare hours are 9 am - 5 pm.

4. Is the childcare staff qualified and experienced? 

Yes! The owner Jeanine Hill, has a bachelor’s in elementary education K-6. The Office employs qualified and experienced childcare providers who are trained in early childhood education and CPR/first aid. 

 5. What types of activities are provided for the children? 

We utilize Mothergoose and 1-2-3 Learn which are state approved curriculums. Activities include educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, story time, and other age-appropriate developmental activities.

6. What is the staff-to-child ratio?

At The Office, we maintain low ratios to ensure of 1:7.

7. Are meals and snacks provided for the children? 

At The Office, we require parents to bring food for their children. We do offer meals and snacks, aligned with USDA food standards to fill missing components.

8. Is there a secure check-in and check-out process for children? 

 Yes, we have a secured check-in and check-out procedures to ensure the safety of all children. Families utilizing childcare assistance or the early learning scholarship will need to sign in.

9. Can I visit my child during the day?

Many coworking spaces with childcare allow parents to visit their children during the day, providing a flexible and family-friendly environment.

10. What are the costs associated with the childcare services?

Costs vary depending on  the age of the child, and the number of hours or days per week needed. At The Office we offer  bundled packages that include both workspace and childcare. See membership page.

11. Are there any additional fees for late pick-ups or extra services? 

There are additional fees for late pick-ups or special services. It’s important to review the fee structure in advance.

12. What measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of the children? 

Health and safety measures taken at The Office include regular cleaning and sanitizing, health screenings, secure premises, and adherence to local regulations and guidelines.

13. Can I use the childcare services on a drop-in basis? 

Yes, The Office offers drop-in childcare services. We advise advance booking or regular schedules to ensure availability.

14. What happens if my child is sick?

Please review our policies in place that require sick children to stay home to prevent the spread of illness.

15. Is there a trial period or introductory session available?

At The Office, we offer paid trial periods, so parents and children can get familiar with the environment before committing to regular use.

16. How do I know if the childcare facility is licensed and accredited?

Our state license is available within the childcare center.
